Start from Greenmarket Square - the oldest market place in South Africa.
Up to Dove Peak - back down to Greenmarket.
Up Table Mountain to Maclear’s Beacon (1087m the highest point of the race) - back to Greenmarket
Up Lionshead - finish at Greenmarket.
Checkpoint @ bottom of Platteklip. Yes, there was a cloud on the table.
fun fact: the race is completly self navigated. You choose your route - you only have to show up at checkpoins. Especially in town you sometimes see runners till they turn at a different road than you and you wonder weather he/she has a faster route :-)
50km. 3000meter climbing (sometimes really climbing on chains). 6h.
