XTERRA PE | Race day

Such a great place for a race. So exciting!

The gun went of at the biggest surf. I ended up pritty solid with place 18 in the swim.

After the bike start I recognized, the legs are fine and it is going very well. Unfortunately I had 2 bad flats already at km1.

I thought about stopping the race. But I had all the week a vers for the race. Again and again Phil 3,13. what I didn't understand. Now I had to forget about the flats and the extra 5min and to strech forward. Even with trying not to lose the plugs, I had a good ride and run and finished 8th over all and won the AG. Thanks God for not giving up. Enjoyed a lot.

Lekker Ocean swim in the City @Kings beach.

Bike and run is quite exciting as well. 

A great race to do. Great athletes in the field. A great support. A blessing to be part.

XTERRA Port Elizabeth

Die Vorbereitungen sind abgeschlossen. Es kann los gehen.

Ein großartiges Rennen mit 1,5km schwimmen im Meer, 28km MTB und 12km Crosslauf. Samstag morgen 8Uhr ist es so weit. Ein Vorrecht hier dabei zu sein.
