Gravel Travel MTB Race Wellington

Today was my first MTB race ever (without Triathlon or Duathlon). 50km, Gravel Travel around the Mountains of Wellington.

At one stage a bunch of cows ran out of a vineyard on the trail in front of me. I had to keep them running not to lose too much time. Eventually they left in another vineyard. They call me cowboy...

Squirt Lube for dusty chains @Kids BMX Project

Squirt Lube is the very best lube we have been ever using. Since Daniel is racing off road we are only using Squirt. It stays on the chain longer and keeps the chain clean. It is wax based, does not contain harmful solvents, is 100% biodegradable and environmentally friendly. Also the Bio Bike wash.

Daniel won the European Champs in England with Squirt Lube!
This race was so muddy that other chains and gearings got stuck. With Squirt there is no build-up due to dirt.
What we like: Excess wax that gets expelled by the chain falls off during riding. Continuous application can be done without having to clean the chain :-)

 

Now we have Squirt Lube for the dusty chains of our Kids BMX Project in Avaian Park/Worcester. As well the Bio Bike wash helps us a lot. It is a great investment in the life of the kids.
